"David has a knack for melody and a sensitivity for instrumental timbres that demand to be heard live. His music uses tonal centres to shape narrative structures in both programmatic and musical content. He richly deserved his first-class mark for his final composition submission at the University of Chichester." - Adam Swayne

Beginnings is a three movement piece written for my dissertation at the University of Chichester. It is written for flute and small ensemble and makes great use of extended techniques. As seen in the artwork, this piece is named in Hebrew, more detailed translation can be seen in the programme notes.

I am only able to upload the last two movements of this piece at the moment.
